In this episode we talk about how a backhanded compliment from an elementary school teacher prompted him to pursue writing, having a few close friends to share your writing with, eventually leaving his day job to be a full-time writer, getting a deal for a book series, writing a long running series, designing magic systems, why fantasy appeals to us, and much more.
