My guest this week is Weston Ochse.  Weston is the author of numerous books including the Seal Team 666 series.  In this episode we talk about how Weston became a writer, juggling a military career with writing fiction, including being deployed in Afghanistan, writing horror and thrillers, his writing process, having a book optioned for a movie with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and much more.

About Weston:

Weston Ochse is the author of twenty books, most recently two SEAL Team 666 books, which the New York Post called ‘required reading’ and USA Today placed on their ‘New and Notable List of 2012.’ His first novel, Scarecrow Gods, won the Bram Stoker Award for Superior Achievement in First Novel and his short fiction has been nominated for the Pushcart Prize, as well as been multiple finalists for the Bram Stoker Award. His work has appeared in comic books, and magazines such as Cemetery Dance and Soldier of Fortune. He lives in the Arizona desert within rock throwing distance of Mexico. He is a military veteran with 29 years of military service and recently returned from a tour in Afghanistan.​
